Yup, they love curry&#8230;well, they <em>usually<\/em> do.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"1vkmn\" data-offset-key=\"1u2ed-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"1u2ed-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"1u2ed-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"1vkmn\" data-offset-key=\"bneov-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bneov-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"bneov-0-0\">So once it was clear they weren&#8217;t touching their breakfast, I packed it up for later and let them head out the door with the nanny. \u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bneov-0-0\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bneov-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"bneov-0-0\">I let them leave with NO breakfast. \u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bneov-0-0\">\n<h3 class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bneov-0-0\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"bneov-0-0\">It&#8217;s an uncomfortable feeling but I know they will be able to eat again shortly. \u00a0There&#8217;s a reason they wouldn&#8217;t touch their eggs and I have to be Ok with that. \u00a0Just as we have a good appetite some days, and then not at others &#8211; kids have an appetite that fluctuates big time (from meal to meal, and dad to day). \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"1vkmn\" data-offset-key=\"egbpu-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"egbpu-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"egbpu-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"1vkmn\" data-offset-key=\"eoa2o-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"eoa2o-0-0\">\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"eoa2o-0-0\">Previously, I would have danced around Sienna, or let her watch videos while sneaking a spoon into her mouth. Or maybe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daniellebinns.com\/stagingsite\/2015\/10\/why-i-give-my-child-dessert-for-dinner\/\">bribed her with dessert<\/a>. She&#8217;s a tiny girl so I had her weight gain on my mind at ALL times. Yet, in order to help our kids eat better and make meals enjoyable, one of the MOST important things we need to change is our mindset. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"1vkmn\" data-offset-key=\"fm70g-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"fm70g-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"fm70g-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"1vkmn\" data-offset-key=\"1nvjg-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"1nvjg-0-0\"><strong><span data-offset-key=\"1nvjg-0-0\">All the proven feeding strategies I teach\/share can&#8217;t work well without mom &amp; dad coming to the table with positivity.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"1nvjg-0-0\">\n<h3 class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bneov-0-0\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"1vkmn\" data-offset-key=\"5b94d-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"5b94d-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5b94d-0-0\">I had to take the time before meals to remind myself that Sienna (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.daniellebinns.com\/stagingsite\/2015\/07\/russell-silver-syndrome\/\">despite being small)<\/a> has the body she&#8217;s supposed to have. \u00a0She&#8217;s healthy, happy and developing well (which is really all that matters). \u00a0The more I interfered with her eating, the more I interfered with\u00a0every parent&#8217;s\u00a0ultimate goal &#8211; that their kids have a positive relationship with food in the long term.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"1vkmn\" data-offset-key=\"23qqn-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"23qqn-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"23qqn-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"1vkmn\" data-offset-key=\"679oa-0-0\">\n<h3 class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"679oa-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"679oa-0-0\">I had to trust her body. And it was\u00a0SO hard.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"1vkmn\" data-offset-key=\"5m6d4-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"5m6d4-0-0\">\n<h3 class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bneov-0-0\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"5m6d4-0-0\">I had to give her control over what went in her mouth and how much of it. \u00a0Just offer, with no pressure.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"5m6d4-0-0\">\n<h3 class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bneov-0-0\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"5m6d4-0-0\">That&#8217;s when my anxiety\u00a0levels dropped from an 8\/10 (high stress) to 3\/10 (low stress) and we all finally started to enjoy meals together.<\/div>\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"ai01s-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"ai01s-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"ai01s-0-0\">You can change your mindset at meals.<\/h3>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"1vkmn\" data-offset-key=\"8f9oj-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"8f9oj-0-0\">\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"8f9oj-0-0\">Mindset is just one of the SUPER important and SUPER impactful strategies I dig into in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daniellebinns.com\/stagingsite\/webinar\">Free Webinar <\/a>this week.
