{"id":4493,"date":"2018-04-03T19:11:21","date_gmt":"2018-04-03T23:11:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.daniellebinns.com\/stagingsite\/?p=4493"},"modified":"2019-07-02T21:51:55","modified_gmt":"2019-07-03T01:51:55","slug":"4-ingredient-protein-powder-cookies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.daniellebinns.com\/stagingsite\/2018\/04\/4-ingredient-protein-powder-cookies\/","title":{"rendered":"4 Ingredient Protein Powder Cookies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s something about recipes with less than 5 ingredients that really excites me.<\/p>\n<p>We just returned from yet another weekend away (you know how much we love being out and about).\u00a0 After I unloaded a van full of stuff, I do what I always do.\u00a0 Open my fridge door to check out the food situation, and it&#8217;s never pretty.\u00a0 In this case, I had a half container of organic cherry tomatoes, a bag of carrots, eggs, mostly eaten tub of hummus, and two lonely avocados.<\/p>\n<p>I had some frozen entrees in my freezer (thank goodness!) from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.farmtotablemeals.com\/\">Farm to Table Meals<\/a>. So we were fine for dinner and lunch box leftovers. It was the snack situation I needed to figure out. Quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Sienna has karate every Tuesday and Thursday right after school, and it&#8217;s critical she has something to nibble before she puts on her gi.<\/p>\n<p>If not, I&#8217;m dealing with irrational meltdowns&#8230;either because I didn&#8217;t tie her karate belt at the right angle, or I took off her left sock before her right one.\u00a0 She <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>will<\/em><\/span><\/strong> find something to tear up about with that satiating snack.<\/p>\n<p>And as you know, those snacks have to be balanced with protein and\/or fat and fibre.\u00a0 [p.s.
