roasted cauliflower for the whole family (easiest recipe yet)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Why do I do this to myself?<\/p>\n<p>I tend to overcomplicate things in the kitchen, and get adventurous with intricate recipes.\u00a0 I spend a lot of time in the kitchen turning cauliflower into pizza, and broccoli into patties.<\/p>\n<p>Yet there are silly simple recipes right under my nose.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t get me wrong&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I love experimenting with foods and fun recipes.\u00a0 However, as a mom with three kids, spending an hour prepping meals isn&#8217;t the best use of my time.\u00a0 I need to take a free pass when I can, and jump all over recipes that require minutes of prepping.\u00a0 Especially when these dishes taste just as good in the end (without all the effort nor a long list of ingredients).<\/p>\n<h3>Case in point: CAULIFLOWER<\/h3>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been testing out all the creative things I can make out of this veggie, and as a result spending more time i the kitchen than I need to.\u00a0 Here are a few of the cauliflower-based recipes on my blog so far:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a pizza crusts<\/li>\n<li>Cauliflower patties<\/li>\n<li>Cauliflower muffins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While all of the above are delicious and fun to serve, I think I deserve a break.\u00a0 We all do, darn it!<\/p>\n<p>Keeping it simple doesn&#8217;t equate to being lazy, or disinteresting, or &#8216;yucky&#8217; as our kids would put it.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s an even better way to serve cauliflower &#8211; it doesn&#8217;t require grinding, chopping, sauteeing, blending, steaming (it doesn&#8217;t require a lot of time either).<\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s so easy, it hardly requires a recipe for goodness sake!\u00a0 Because it is a whole roasted cauliflower.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just take a cauliflower, remove leaves, coat it with oil and spices (<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/308rFSm\">this is my go to spice for everything right now<\/a>) and bake the darn thing.\u00a0 While it&#8217;s baking you can pack lunches, call a friend, sip some tea, or pull out the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daniellebinns.com\/stagingsite\/placemat\">Superpower Foods Placemat<\/a> and have some fun watching you child explore a new food (maybe some cauliflower?).<\/p>\n<p><strong>The
